Noah only has a couple more weeks left in preschool before he starts full-time school (excuse me while I weep quietly in the corner). He’s thoroughly enjoyed his time in nursery but he’s ready to join his sister in ‘big school’. He was so excited to show me the spider web picture he had drawn in the playground…
It was the Summer Fair at school this week. There was face-painting and rides galore. We discovered that Charlie is not a fan of bouncy castles but loved the motorbike on the roundabout. Noah and Ava had their first ever ride in a go kart. It was fitting as Noah’s career of choice for the week is go kart driver…
I’ve been busying working away on a few new designs for my shop but I did manage to find time to make a quick ‘custom order’ for my husband’s car…
This frozen mojito is sure to be marvelous! It’s like a slushie for grown ups…
It’s very rare that all three children sleep past our alarm. In fact, I can’t recall it happening before but it did this morning. I had time to get washed and dressed and enjoy a cup of coffee with only the cat for company. A much more peaceful start to my week than usual.
I hope your Monday is marvelous!
For the most part, it seems that summer has finally arrived!
I’m all for updating my wardrobe each season but it can be difficult to do on a budget. Whilst charity shops will always be one of my favourites, there are plenty of purse-friendly options online.
Here are four of the best accessories I found for under £10…
1. I already own this bubble necklace in black and I’ve found it to be incredibly versatile. This turquoise version would be a great summer version. It would look great with a simple white vest and denim cutoffs.
2. This floral headband would be perfect for bad hair days. You get the look of a hair scarf without the hassle of trying to tie it right!
3. These coral earrings would dress up a summer dress in the evenings. I adore the colour and the have just the right amount of sparkle.
4. I’d wear this gold ring with a maxi skirt and a casual top. It makes such a statement I’d keep the rest of my fingers bare.
I must admit, I haven’t really watched much of the World Cup. Football isn’t really my thing!
My dad however, has been tuning in. This morning he sent me a text message pointing out that there are a few similarities between Noah and the Brazilian player David Luiz. I had to Google him but I definitely see it.
What do you think?
I should point out that Noah was having a fairly good hair day in this picture… the frizz factor is usually much higher!
